Yesterday a certain tabloid ran a story indicating that there could be a brewing child custody battle between singer Eddy Kenzo and his ex-lover Tracy Nabatanzi- the mother of his first child, Maya Musuuza.

The tabloid alleged that ‘Tracy has been telling pals that she wants to her daughter from the Sitya Loss hit maker because she doesn’t want her to be raised by another woman other than herself.’

However, both Tracy and Kenzo have laughed off the story and described it as “an empty attempt by an unprofessional media house to create a scandal!”

Kenzo lives with Rema and his two children in his Seguku mansion.

A source close to Kenzo and Tracy told us that the two had a phone conversation about the story and decided they will not be commenting about it in the media.

However the source told us that both Tracy and Kenzo are okay and have both moved on. The source also revealed that Tracy has not found even a single  problem with her daughter living with Rema- Kenzo’s fiancéé.

“They simply laughed it off; they are both happy and okay with the arrangement they have for their child,” the source said.

The source revealed that Tracy and Kenzo reached an agreement for Maya to spend her holidays with her father while she would be with her mother during school time.

The source also told us that Tracy is not planning to go anywhere with her daughter as indicated in the story.

“She’s here and she’s not taking the girl anywhere; where did they even get such a story!” the source wondered!

In the meantime, Kenzo posted a selfie of him and his two daughters having a quality dad-daughters’ moment; that was probably his response to the tabloid allegations!
