We broke the news of Xposed presenter MC Kats leaving NTV to join NBS. Now NTV has come out to officially clear the air, saying that MC Kats contract had expired and both parties chose not to renew it.

They also announced that MC Esco, formerly of WBS is replacing MC Kats on Xposed that is aired every Saturday.

NTV posted a statement on their official Facebook wall.

“MEET ESCO THE NEW HOST OF XPOZED Welcome Esco who will now be hosting the show. He will be taking over from MC Kats who leaves NTV after the expiry of his contract. We thank MC Kats for all the great work he has done with us and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Esco, who has been co-hosting the show brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge and fits well within our target group. His talent is there for everyone to appreciate.

Xpozed is our signature music show for young viewers and Esco fits well within our strategy to refresh and align our presenters with our viewers and their tastes. Esco will easily connect with them and we know he fits the bill perfectly”

Just like MC Kats, Esco cut his TV presenting teeth at WBS’ Teens Club, that also gave us Flavia Tumusiime.
