The latest news reaching our Gossip desk is that US-based Ugandan singer Rachel K is back in the country. Her mum and mentor Halima Namakula has exclusively confirmed to us “Rachel is already in the country”.
Speaking to another credible source, we have been also informed that Rachel will be the official host of the Abryanz Style And Fashion Awards due to take place this Friday 8th at Serena Hotel. We haven’t yet landed on information how much she will be paid for the job. Her co-host is also not yet known as the event managers are still tight-lipped.
Rachel has been in the US studying and doing her private businesses. As soon as she landed in the country, she told her close friends that she will not be going back to the US. She wants to concentrate on rebuilding her music career.
