Former Miss Uganda Stella Nantumbe aka Ellah is on a mission to make a mark and even conquer in the biggest movie industry on the continent- Nollywood. News on our desk is that Ellah has for the past several weeks been in and out of Nigeria almost on a weekly basis.
According to a very reliable source, the beauty queen landed a top role in an upcoming Kinigeria movie. Apparently, she had to juggle between being on two sets- in Nigeria for the new movie and in Uganda for the Second Chance shoots!
But according to another source that is close to Ellah, the actress had help from a very respected individual in as far as penetrating Nollywood is concerned.
The source told us that Ellah flew to Nigeria at the invitation of an Oga (rich and powerful man) who has a strong footing in Nollywood. The source told us that besides interesting her into taking roles in some upcoming movies that he has interests in, the Oga made a romantic proposal.
Ellah who has had issues with several men in Kampala, is said to have found the Oga’s proposal quite irresistible! The source told us that the Oga has flown to Kampala to spend some time with Ellah, but it’s the actress who is on the plane to Nigeria, sometimes twice a week; and flying business class!
The source told us that the Oga is planning to visit Ellah’s parents officially sometime this year. All the best Ellah.
