Tarrus Riley finally confirmed for Swangz Avenue concert

Jamaican-American star Tarrus Riley is coming to Uganda this August, it has been confirmed. The celebrated reggae artiste was unveiled yesterday as the headlining act at the much anticipated Swangz All Star concert which will be held on Friday, August 31 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

“We have already concluded everything with Tarrus Riley and his management,” Swangz Avenue boss Benon Mugumbya stated . “We are very excited to be bringing this  star to Uganda”.

Famous for songs like Gimme Likkle One Drop, She’s Royal, Just the way you are, and Don’t Come Back among others, he has assured his fans in Uganda that he is coming to Kampala.

“The concert is going to go on. I am coming to Uganda, and I will be giving you great reggae and dancehall tunes soon,” he stated in a video.

Tarrus Riley, who is currently on tour in Europe, is expected to jet in four days to the concert alongside his band.

The All Star concert will be a celebration of Swangz Avenue’s 10 years of making great music. It will also be graced by a host of Uganda’s top artistes.
