Man offers Shs1m to Kiyembe trader for Bobi Wine ‘escape jacket’

Mugalu John, the Kiyembe trader who facilitated Bobi Wine’s escape from police by offering him a black cap and jacket could be smiling ear to ear.

Thanks to social media, a one Mutebi Musa has come out to offer Shs1m to Mugalu for the jacket.

 ‘’Thank you so much Mugalu John for protecting the people’s president. Anyway, my offer still stands 1 million shillings for that jacket in case you interested,’’ tweeted Mutebi.

The market price for the jacket is around Shs35 downtown. After avoiding arrest, Bobi Wine sneaked to Parliament using services of a motorist after which he called upon the trader to show up.

The jacket and cap enabled Bobi Wine disguise himself after Police intercepted the social media tax protest downtown.
