Latest on our desk indicates that the ‘Mateeka’ singer’s star has risen in the nation from the streets, all the way to State House. Yes, Jose Chameleone will be awarded at the Urithi Festival celebrations on September 1, Dodoma Jamhuri Stadium by Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli.
The singer will reportedly be awarded for promotion of Swahili language in the region through his music that spans over a decade.
