It seems 2018 is going to be a year of celebrating decades, from media empire NBS marking 10 years of talking media to Swangz Avenue also celebrating 10years of churning hits.
The latest to jump onto the decade- celebrating wagon is arguably the biggest act in comedy in Uganda right now, Patrick Salvador Idringi. The chubby comedian took to his Facebook page and thanked all the people who have supported him in his journey from friends, sponsors, well wishers, fans among many others.
“… All I can say is thank you. I can’t thank you enough, I don’t want to start naming you beacuse I don’t want to leave out anyone…” wrote a cheerful Salvador.
Salvador went on to invite everyone for his show slated for late next year at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
“So I invite you next year at the Kampala Serena Hotel on the 8th of October to hound me as I celebrate a decade in comedy,” he concluded.
Salvador has been at the forefront of Ugandan comedy for the past few years and we wish him luck in his next phase of the comedy industry.
