She could be a celebrity now but if you saw Zari in Jinja in the mid 90s, you wouldn’t think much of her. But as a legend in the game, celebrated MC of his days, Rasta Rob saw Zari’s potential and brought her to the city.
Basically, Rasta Rob says he personally kick-started her hustle that has seen her become one of the most followed Ugandan socialites who ran her own reality television show – The Boss Lady, met more popular music stars like Diamond Platinumz to whom she was partly married.
Like Kanye West and Taylor Swift, the former DJ says he made Zari famous. Rasta Rob even
bragged about being the man who took the boss lady’s virginity addingthat if it wasn’t for him, Zari would be a local slay queen lousing around the Nile with no hope of ever being a Tourism Ambassador.
