Despite handing over the Miss Uganda crown to Oliver Nakakande last Friday, Quiin Abenakyo believes she is still a queen. Abenakyo said apart from her Miss World Africa being on, she revealed that she will forever be in the Beauty Queens academy.

Abenakyo disclosed that she has achieved more than the common imagination of getting money.

“Miss Uganda gives you a platform where you can connect with everyone in the world. I have worked with international organizations and met very important persons,” Abenakyo said.

The beauty queen said that her ‘Beauty with the purpose’ cause will continue since the platform she gained is timeless.

“I have my Quinn Abenakyo Foundation and all the works we have been doing are to continue because we need to play a part in the society,” she said.

While talking about her relationship status and plans, Abenakyo first denied allegations of being in love with the Kyabazinga of Busoga before confessing that she will be married maybe in five years’ time.

About the new Miss Uganda, Abenakyo urged Ugandans to support her in every cause.

“I put the bar high but I think she can achieve the same if we all support her,” she said.
