After coming out yesterday to officially announce that she had signed a mega multi-album recording and management deal with entertainment giant Universal Music Group (UMG), through its Africa division Universal Music Group Africa based in Lagos, Nigeria, singer Irene Ntale claims that she is receiving numerous messages from ‘Slay Queens’ asking her to hook them up with Nigerian men.

“Don’t ask me to connect you to Nigerian men. I am also single,” Ntale said during an interview.

The former Swangz Avenue signee refuted the earlier reports which alleged that her unceasing travels to Nigeria meant she had hooked up with a loaded ‘Oga.’ Ntale said her travels were strictly about music business.

“The UMG management reached out to me two years ago when I had just left Swangz Avenue. I could not accept their offers then since I had a bias on record labels,” Ntale narrated as she disclosed that in December last year the group approached him with another convincing package that was worth it.

The songbird added that since reaching the agreement, she has been traveling to Nigeria to record music as paperwork for official announcements was being processed.
