With the elections fast approaching, different contenders are lobbying for funds to help them during their campaigns. Motor mouth Stella Nyanzi, a Kampala Woman Member of Parliament hopeful has shocked her fans with an open letter to renowned gay celebrities Elton John and Ellen DeGeneres requesting for campaign funding.
According to Nyanzi her opponents are masterminding a smear campaign in which they call her a promoter of homosexuality, an allegation which she doesn’t deny.
However Nyanzi denies ever receiving any funding from the white gay community like her opponents claim and has asked for Shs1,300,000,000 from the celebrities to bring her prison to parliament dream to life.
