Man eateth where he worketh: List of media personalities who married colleagues

The love bug has once again visited the media fraternity. Yesterday evening celebrated media personality Raymond Mujuni shocked many when he posted his engagement photos to his colleague Rita Kanya.

“Just in: The most beautiful girl in the world said yes to my most difficult question,” posted Mujuni.

Over the years, media personalities have got married to each other and Matooke Republic has compiled a list of media couples that are happily married.

Andrew kabuura and Flavia Tumusiime

Having grown up on our Television screens Flavia Tumusiime has always been a sweetheart to many people. From her WBS days of Teens club, Capital Fm and now NTV, Flavia is one of the most loved media personalities.

Her relationship with sports Journalist Andrew Kabuura is said to have kicked off from the corridors of NTV where both of them work. The two tied the knot in 2019 and are blessed with a son.

Patrick Kanyomozi and Lucky Mbabazi

The Kanyomozi’s love story was brewed from the Namuwongo based Radio station KFM before Lucky Mbabazi moved to Capital FM. It’s said that the two were friends long before they started dating.

Patrick Kanyomozi and Lucky had a traditional marriage eleven years back and are blessed with four kids.

Judithiana and Joel Ndugga

From colleagues to Mr and Mrs  Ndugga, the newly weds Judith Namazzi aka Judithiana and Joel Ndugga aka Yowelie surprised many when they tied the knot. The two met while working on the Breakfast in the city show on Radiocity.

Judithiana is remembered for pioneering one of Urban Tv’s most watched show the Saloon Talk, a show she hosted for years before she switched to Pearl Magic.

Maurice Mugisha and Irene Birungi

In the early 2000s, WBS was the go to Television. Maurice Mugisha and Irene Birungi sparked off their relationship from the newsroom were both of them were anchoring the English news.

 Birungi introduced Mugisha to her parents in 2006 in a traditional marriage and the couple walked down the aisle in the same year. The Mugisha’s are blessed with two children.

Ben Mwine and Racheal Arinaitwe

Even years after quiting her NTV news anchoring job, RacheaL Arinaitwe’s face is one we can’t forget. well the media personality is married to Ben Mwine. The two tied the knot in 2013.

Mr. Mwine is a popular face among the born again circles and is remembered for being among the brains behind the Phat Fest. The renowned media personality has worked at a number of media houses including Radio One, Power Fm, Sanyu FM, NTV, KFM.
