Guinness Uganda has rolled out an eight-week-long campaign that will add more excitement  to football match days.

Dubbed the Guinness Match Day Magic, the campaign gives soccer lovers who stock up on Guinness for their match viewing experiences a chance to win several goodies.

To take part, participants are required to buy a six-pack of Guinness Smooth or Foreign Extra stout (FES) from participating outlets. On proof of purchase, they will automatically enter a draw where they get to choose a colour on a chart that will represent the prize to be won. Prizes include Guinness jerseys, hoodies, sunglasses, key holders and more.

The campaign is part of the various endeavours advanced by the brand to keep the match day spirit alive but also to bring fun to the matches that are being watched from home owing to restrictions instituted by government to avert the spread of Covid-19.

“Guinness and football are a perfect match. Even when they cannot watch the game from their favourite sports bar, Guinness is still the best match day companion. We encourage Guinness lovers to visit participating outlets and stock up before kick off and stand a chance to win several Guinness goodies,” says Elizabeth Mutamuliza, the Guinness Uganda Brand Manager.

Participating outlets this weekend include Shoprite Acacia Mall, Shoprite Entebbe, Shoprite Lugogo, Quality Supermarket Kitende, Carrefour Nalyaa, City Joy Mbuya and Cynibel supermarket in Bunga.
