Ever since singer Rema Namakula got married to Dr. Hamza Ssebunya in 2019,  there have been a lot of speculations and false pregnancy alerts leaked to  the couple.

Recently, NBS TV Uncutpresenter Zahara Totto came out and branded Rema Namakula the ambassador of women with family planning coils that prevent women from getting pregnant.

This was brought up while discussing Diana Nabatanzi and Emmanuel Lwasa Kaweesa’s estranged relationship after the latter accused the former of failing to give birth.

In that regard, Zaraha Totto hinted on Rema’s relationship with Dr. Hamza wondering why the songstress has taken long to give birth for her husband.

However, the ‘Sili Muyembe’ singer has finally come out and responded to critics discussing her  delay in conceiving a baby for Dr. Hamza.

While appearing on a local television on Thursday night the singer was questioned why she has taken long without giving her husband a kid to which she replied that not everyone who does a wedding or introduction ceremony must be pregnant or expecting.

“Not everyone who has a wedding or introduction ceremony must be pregnant or expecting, we do those ceremonies out of love and wait on God’s timing, why do you decide for me? The baby will be for me and Dr Hamza so we are the ones to decide on when to bring a baby into this world, but also God decides first on when to give us a baby, but Insha Allah the baby is coming anytime from now,” Rema said.
