Zari, Diamond Platnumz land Netflix deal

Estranged couple Diamond Platnumz and Zarinah Hassan commonly known as Zari Hassan the Boss Lady are making ‘boss Moves’, the Ugandan South African based business woman and Bongo Flava star have landed themselves a Netflix deal. The two will be featuring in a reality show dubbed Young, Famous & African.


Zari and Diamond broke the good news on their social media platforms.


“Born in Uganda, Flourishing in Mzansi. Now we are taking over Netflix. See me bossing it up on Netflix South Africa and Naija on Netflix’s first ever African reality show coming soon Young, Famous and African,”Zari posted.

This won’t be Zari’s first reality show, 20 years ago, the mother of five launched a reality show on UBC TV dubbed “Zari the Bosslady”. The show that showcased Zari’s lifestyle featuring her family and business adventures.

“From Tandale to the World. Go behind the scenes of what it takes to be African Icon to the world with Netflix South Africa and Naija Netflix’s first African reality TV show, featuring your one and only Simba. You don’t want to miss this Young Famous and African,” posted Diamond.
