The controversial singer, Ronald Mayinja, has made another U-turn once again. The singer has released a new song titled “Abantu Bagaanye” in which he asks President Yoweri Museveni to leave power.

In his song, Mayinja says that after travelling around Uganda, he has realized that marketing Museveni is impossible because the people are tired and want someone else.

According to Mayinja, his efforts to market Museveni and his government have earned him hatred.

“I advise the President to give way to another person,” he said.

In the past, Mayinja has released two controversial songs, one against the regime (“Bizeemu”) and the other (“Akalulu Kako muzeeyi”) in support of the regime.

The singer was one of the musicians that entertained Museveni’s supporters during the 2021 generation elections.
