Muhammad Ssegirinya, the Member of Parliament for Kawempe North, has taken a comical approach to explain why he believes he deserves a spot in the Guinness World Records. He claims to be the fastest-elected leader to implement his manifesto.

Ssegirinya, who was arrested approximately four months after being sworn in as the representative for Kawempe North in the 11th Parliament, asserted that he successfully executed his manifesto within a mere two months.

“I established a hospital, a technical school, and even purchased an ambulance. Additionally, I provided capital to numerous vendors in my constituency,” Ssegirinya shared during his appearance on Baba TV this morning.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the management of Guinness World Records, he questioned why his name has not been included in their books.

According to Ssegirinya, he accomplished his five-year manifesto goals within the span of just two months.

“By the time of my arrest, I had already fulfilled my manifesto commitments,” he stated.

Ssegirinya, along with his fellow MP Allan Ssewanyana, was arrested in September 2021 on charges of terrorism and murder. After spending two years on remand at Kigo Prison, they were granted bail on February 13, 2023, by Justice Lawrence Tweyanze.
