The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among and her husband, Moses Magogo, have welcomed a set of twins.
The news was shared by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa.
“With great Joy, I congratulate my brother @MosesMagogo and my sister the Rt. Hon Speaker @AnitahAmong upon the double bundle of joy. You are now Ssalongo and Nnalongo. Congratulations once again,” he said.
In August , Speaker Among confirmed she was expecting when she met Pope Francis in the Vatican.
“I am pregnant. Bless my baby,” she told the Pope.
The twins are the first children Speaker Among and Magogo have had together.
