Police in Kabalagala have arrested Sandra Teta following an incident in which she allegedly knocked and injured her long-time partner, popular singer Douglas Mayanja, widely known as Weasel Manizo.

The incident occurred last night at Shan’s Bar & Restaurant in Munyonyo, reportedly after a heated exchange between the couple escalated into a physical altercation.

According to reports, Sandra, who was driving a Mercedes-Benz with registration number UBH 148Y, allegedly struck Weasel, leaving him with a broken leg.

The singer was rushed to Nsambya Hospital, where he is expected to undergo bone surgery later this evening.

Sandra is currently being held at Kabalagala Police Station, where she is recording a statement regarding the incident.

The couple, who share two children—a son and a daughter—have previously made headlines over allegations of domestic violence, with past reports accusing Weasel of assaulting Sandra.
