Ugandan musician Mungu Feni has pulled off a birthday surprise for comedian MC Kash, who recently celebrated his 34th birthday.
What began as a joke quickly turned into a moment to remember. During a comedy show hosted by the Mayor of Kirabu, MC Kash had the crowd in stitches as he poked fun at his own struggles, including his inability to afford a car. Little did he know that one of his biggest supporters was watching closely.
Mungu Feni, who was in attendance, laughed along with the audience—but he also took the joke to heart. In a dramatic and emotional twist, the artist surprised his longtime friend with a brand new Subaru, leaving MC Kash overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.
The unexpected gift has since been praised by fans, with many applauding Mungu Feni for his generosity and loyalty to friends. The singer is widely known for his charitable work through the Mungu Feni Foundation, which currently supports more than 300 people and plays an active role in community development across the West Nile region.
The foundation’s impact was recently recognised at the West Nile Quality Brand Awards, where it scooped multiple honours, including Best Community Development NGO in West Nile 2025, Best Local NGO in West Nile 2025, and the prestigious Quality Excellence Award – Platinum.
