Matooke Republic parenting columnist Mama Sandy aka Sandra Ssekamwa recently embarked on a mission to make a difference in people’s lives, especially teenagers that are hopeless and helpless.
Dubbed ‘I am worth more,’ Sandy says the initiative is meant to help, mentor, advise, counsel, encourage and pray for children and teenagers who succumb to drugs, sexual abuse, violence and all those who drift aimlessly through life without motivation or direction.
Over the past few days, Sandy has been able to visit and preach the gospel of her initiative to students at St. Noah Girls SS, Makerere College School, Makerere University and Uganda Christian University. Sandy said that the campaign will go to different schools across the country and will eventually have a holiday program with a clear curriculum.
