Last week on Friday, leading opposition party Forum for Democratic Change reshuffled its leadership at Parliament; but most notably Hon. Betty Aol Ochan replacing Hon. Winnie Kiiza as Leader of Opposition.

However, nothing goes by on our local current affairs scene without a comment from self-proclaimed intellectual Tamale Mirundi. According to Mirundi, the changes in FDC have added another step to their self destruction path.

He described dropping Winnie Kiiza as a ‘serious blunder’.

In his view, he says that the current political environment of Uganda requires face value for an individual to thrive and it’s the reason young people, musicians and comedians are ruling the scenes.

“Now day’s politics goes with beauty, why change Winnie Kiiza for Betty Aol,” Tamale laughed off.

He further teasingly added that Museveni always wins Besigye because of his baby face.
