Rapper Navio’s mum, Dr Maggie Kigozi is admitted in Nakasero Hospital after thugs broke into her Lubaga home and stabbed her last night.
“She is undergoing treatment at Nakasero Hospital for injuries she sustained on her hands and knees,” Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson, has disclosed.
Dr Kigozi is a former Uganda Investment Authority executive director. She is a director in Crown Beverages, the makers of Pepsi and Mirinda in Uganda among other business interests.
The thugs apparently broke into her bedroom through the ceiling after removing roof tiles at 4am.
Police have sealed off the home and investigations are underway.
