Hip-hop star Navio will hold a special concert at the Serena Kampala Hotel on October 4, 2025. The show, starting at 7:00 pm, will be a unique mix of rhythm, poetry, and orchestral music.

The event will blend Navio’s powerful hip-hop style with grand orchestral arrangements—something never seen before on Uganda’s music stage. It will be a celebration of cultural unity, bringing together sounds and influences from Eastern, Western, and Northern Africa on one stage for the first time.

Born Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, Navio first made his name as a founding member of the groundbreaking hip-hop group Klear Kut, pioneers of the “Ugaflow” sound and the first Ugandan rap act to be nominated for a Kora Award. His solo career has since produced hit songs like Ngalo, Bugumu, One & Only, and the global favourite On and On, which featured American R&B legend Keith Sweat.

Navio is one of East Africa’s most awarded hip-hop artist, with multiple Pearl of Africa Music Awards and African Entertainment Awards, along with more than 30 local and international nominations and wins. His versatility has seen him collaborate with some of the biggest names in music, including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Sauti Sol, Sarkodie, Ice Prince, King Saha, Chameleone, and Bobi Wine.

The Orchestra Concert will take fans on a musical journey through Navio’s biggest hits and collaborations, all performed with a live orchestra. The night will also feature tributes to the many artists he has worked with over the years. To add more excitement, a mystery special guest—rumoured to be flying in—is expected to make a surprise appearance.

“This concert is more than just music—it’s East Africa’s heartbeat meeting global rhythms in symphonic harmony,” Navio said. “I’m excited to give my fans an unforgettable experience and to celebrate the legacy we’ve built together.”

Tickets are available at the Serena Kampala Hotel box office and through Navio’s official platforms. VIP packages include premium seating, a pre-show reception, and exclusive merchandise. Prices are Shs150,000 for individual tickets, Shs3 million for VIP tables, Shs5 million for premium tables, and Shs10 million for platinum tables.
