Word reaching our desk is that rapper Lumix from Northern Uganda has passed away.

“RIP to the Don, the Legend, Lumix. I’m honoured to have been amongst the last to work with you. And though you are no longer here physically, you will forever live on through your immortal music.
UG Hip-Hop will always miss you,” fellow rapper Enygma confirmed the death.

Lumix was popular for rapping in his native Acholi language. In a style dubbed Luo Flow.

He is most known for True Manhood, his 2009 collabo with GNL, Aziz Azion and T-Bro.

We shall keep you posted with the details.
