City businessman Matthew Kanyamunyu, his brother Joseph Kanyamunyu and girlfriend Cynthia Munwangari will appear in court tomorrow. Nakawa Grade One Magistrate Noah Sajjabi remanded the trio over the murder of Kenneth Akena. The murder of Akena had been the talk of town before it was eclipsed by the Kasese clashes. They will appear before Nakawa Magistrates’ court tomorrow.
The prime suspects appeared before the court on November 22 and were charged with murder in connection to the death of NGO worker Kenneth Akena who was allegedly shot at the Forest Mall after scratching Kanyamunyu’s car. Police investigations into the case is on going. We shall keep you updated on emerging developments.
