Kanyamunyu brothers and Cynthia have been further remanded to Luzira prison. The trio will be expected to appear before court on 31st January after Nakawa court adjourned the mention of the case.

Last week on Tuesday, Nakawa Grade One Magistrate Noah Ssajjabi remanded Kanyamunyu, his girlfriend Cynthia Munwangari and his brother Joseph Kanyamunyu after state prosecutor Racheal Nabwire told court that investigations in the murder case are still ongoing.

“The matter is coming to court for mention but I pray that it is adjourned because investigations are still ongoing” she requested.

The magistrate remanded the accused until January 31, 2017 when they will re-appear in court for mention of the case.
Unlike last week, there appearance was a low key affair perhaps thanks to the absence of MP Odonga Otto.
