Its heated up and rowdy in parliament as different candidates are giving their speeches before the honourables. The campaigns has been marred by chaotic scenes, jelling and screaming something akin to primary school prefect campaigns.
When Ingrid Turinawe stood to speak, rowdy MPs held placards that read, “We dont want pigs here”. She struggled to speak and be heard above the noise fellow MPs were making.
Ingrid Turinawe joined the race in controversial fashion after losing the primaries. FDC had announced to have withdrawn her from the race however in a Facebook post she denied knowledge of it.
The campaigns are still going on.
