Police has netted more suspects in the murder of Police AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, his body guard and driver. The suspects are being held at various Police stations as investigations into the gruesome murder that shocked the nation continues.
IGP Kale Kayihura assured mourners at the burial of the late AIG yesterday that the Police is making significant progress.
“Some people have been saying that Kayihura is sleeping. On radio it is ‘Kayihura this’, ‘Kayihura that’…. I want to assure you Kayihura does not sleep,” he said, adding that “security agencies are not sleeping to keep this country safe,”he assured the mourners.
He revealed that the Police has arrested one at the DRC border attempting to flee the country.
Meanwhile, Police has released another composite image of the another suspect.
