While appearing on his weekly NBS TV show, Mirundi stated that Besigye’s direct involvement in the launched “Red Ribbon” campaign is a strong strategy. According to the presidential press advisor, the “Red Ribbon” aka Togikwatako movement places the opposition at a do-or-die position.
“The opposition has brought the 2021 burden to now. The moment they lose now, it means they’ve lost for life,” he stated.
