Children and youth want Article 102 amended — Minister Nakiwala Kiyingi

Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development (Youth and Children Affairs) Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi stated that the youth and children are very enthusiastic to have the presidential age limit amended.

According to the Observer, she made the statements yesterday in Kyenjojo on the ocassion of the International Day of the Girl-child celebrations. While addressing the gathering, she informed the First Lady that “children and youth  had sent her to tell the First Lady Janet Museveni to ensure that Article 102 is amended”.

Mrs Museveni, who is also the education minister was in the district for the belated International Day of the Girl Child.
