Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has denied claims its militants on Thursday night cordoned off Police Chief Gen Kale Kayihura’s residence.
Reports indicated military police and Special Forces personnel were deployed at Kayihura’s plush home in Muyenga, a Kampala suburb
. But Defence Spokesperson, Brig Richard Karemire dismissed the reports as “untrue.”
There have been several reports indicating that several top Police officers have been arrested for questioning by CMI.
