Opposition strong man, Dr. Kizza Besigye has defended his son for leading  protest at Harvard university. As we reported, 21-year-old Anselm Besigye recently led protest against police brutality after a black student was mistreated by police at the university.

In response to his son’s action, Besigye defended him saying Anselm is only standing for justice.

“There is nothing wrong he did. He was only standing for what is right and fighting for the rights of one who was being oppressed. As you understand, there was a black student who was being oppressed”, Besigye stated as a warm smile of a proud father lit his face.

Anselm blamed the university administration for the event that unfolded.

“As I’ve learned more about what’s happened, it’s just become more obvious to me that there is an acute and systematic failure on almost every level of administration to secure black lives on this campus,” he told Harvard Crimson, the university publication.

Surely, as they say, an apple doesn’t fall far away from the tree. Does it?
