MP welcomed by no medicine in government hospital after nasty road accident

Erute North Member of Parliament, Charles Angiro Gutmoi suffered a nasty road accident in Kiryadondo after a Fuso truck crushed into his Toyota Noah UAV 089G as he was traveling along the Gulu-Kampala highway, Wednesday morning.

After the accident, the legislator narrated that he was trapped in the heavily damaged car and made several calls to police who took hours to show up.

The injured legislator was reportedly rescued by good Samaritans and was driven to Kiryadongo Hospital but found no medicine.

The hospital administrator explained the health facility had run out of supplies including medicine and gloves. He was referred to Mulago hospital.
