As by eyewitnesses,  the the three men were riding on a motorcycle Reg. No. UDF 929G, and parked outside the hospital gate.

However, their repeated movements in and out of the facility raised suspicion prompting questions from motorcyclists. Musasiziwas also found in possession of army fatigues, master keys and a number of fake number plates including UAJ 811X and UAJ 118X.

The suspect admitted to the crime saying they had come for the ambulance and a double cabin that belongs to the District Health Officer. He adds that the mission was to take the cars to Democratic Republic of Congo.

He was then handed over to the Armored Brigade unit at Kasijjagirwa for further investigations after him recording a statement at Kalisizo police.
