After the arrest,  Nambooze has been in various police detention centers despite her faltering health condition. While speaking to NBS TV, the legislator who was in great pain revealed that at time of arrest she was in good health but police insisted and drove her off.

She tearfully stated that; “My situation is not good and it should not be a surprise when God calls me now.”

However, on matters surrounding her arrest she said; “I make a lot of statements both on social media and in public and I never give a statement with the intention of offending anyone.”

The MP is admitted at Kiruddu hospital, a government health facility in Wakiso district.
