After serving a brief stint in Parliament as Lubaga North MP before court threw him out, Singh Katongole has lost out on Makamba Zone’s LC.1 seat.

But he was going down like a civilian. According to voters in Lubaga, Katongole hired mercenaries who were not the area’s residents to vote in his favour.

When the locals realized the voter’s register had strange names, the boycotted the election.
