The campaign was started by Mayi Namakookiro Ow’omutima Nyago and is geared at raising at least $5,000 (Shs18.5 million).

The money will be handed over to Barbra Itungo Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine’s wife) who will, in turn, hand it over to Kawuma’s family.

“The Late Yasin Kawuma was a hardworking young man and Father who was killed on duty while he fended for his family and also served his Country on democratic fronts. As members of the Diaspora, we coming together with this fundraising to raise money to help his family especially the Children. We would like his kids to have a bright future and opportunities,” Nyago said.

Kawuma left behind 11 children and three wives whose future is now uncertain. To donate click here.
