According to the police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima, this is a preventive measure to ensure that the city is peaceful.

“As you are aware, we impounded a truck carrying used tires yesterday and we have been told that some opposition politicians were planning to burn them in the city today. We can’t allow that,” Kayima said.

According to Ingrid, the police have even blocked her children from going to school.

“I am opening for my dogs so that they protect me. I am feeling so sorry for my neighbours,” Ingrid further said.

Court Martial is set for a busy schedule with both Bobi Wine and General Kale Kayihura set to make appearances in Gulu and Makindye respectively.
