Gen. Kale Kayihura charged with illegally arming Boda-boda 2010, kidnapping Rwandan exiles

Gen. Kale Kayihura appeared before Makindye Military Court today morning, August 24, after spending over two months in detention.

The former IGP pleaded not guilty to three counts of; allowing issuance of firearms to Boda 2010 between 2010 -2018, failure to protect war materials and aiding kidnap or abetting kidnapping by commission, repatriating Rwandan exiles and refugees and Ugandan citizens to Rwanda between 2012 and 2016.
