Mityana Municipality MP Hon Francis Zaake is still in Uganda after a botched move to India despite his contemporary, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine having been cleared for treatment in the US.

On Monday, September 3, a team of government doctors arrived at Kiruddu Hospital to examine the health condition of the legislator with the hope that he will get clearance for medication abroad.

The President of the Uganda Medical Association, Dr Ekwaro Obuku stated that Zaake’s health condition has gone out of hand.

“I want to make it clear that the issue of Hon Zaake is not a medical matter anymore, it has become a security and political matter,” Dr Ekwaro stated.

Ekwaro reveals that all the previous examinations have confirmed that the MP needs urgent medication but the government continues to halt his travels.
