Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has been arrested upon landing at Entebbe International Airport and forcefully put into a waiting army vehicle.
According to his brother Dax Vibes, with whom he was on the plane, Wine was not allowed to go through the formal immigration checks but was instead taken into a waiting van.
According to the police, Bobi Wine is not under arrest but is being detained at Kasangati Police Station near his Magere home.
Emilian Kayima, the police spokesperson says that this is within their mandate to keep law and order especially when signs of holding processions and disrupting business are extremely vivid.
