Presidential aspirant and Kyadondo East M Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, has responded to critics of his ‘economics knowledge’ with a song titled ‘Fiscal Policy. This comes after social media critics slammed the self- proclaimed Ghetto President for failing to properly explain what fiscal policy he would employ to curb the country’s high inflation rate in case he is voted President of Uganda –a question that was put to him by NTV’s Patrick Kamara on the political talk show On The Spot.

It is the wife to the Kyadondo East Honorable, Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo, who has divulged Bobi Wine’s making of the song that’s still undergoing recording in studio. Barbie a little while ago posted on her Facebook wall a video showing Bobi Wine and a few of his music-team members (including Nubian Li) in studio recording the song.

Clearly Barbie’s post was meant to give the public a hint on the song that’s yet to be released. She accompanied the video with the caption “If I was President.”

In the lyrics of the song, Bobi Wine explains his Fiscal policy. The introduction has him saying, “So now we bring the fiscal to the disco and break it down for the common man dem…’

And in the verses he sings: “If I was given an opportunity to change how my people live, the condition, the oppression, the high taxes… that would be my fiscal policy… I wonder why the poverty is so high…reduce the prices, raise the salaries… that would be my fiscal policy .”
