Controversial political analyst and Presidential Advisor on the Media, Tamale Mirundi, has said that thieves embedded within government are going to use the revived Uganda Airlines to steal for fun.
Speaking on his weekly Tuesday morning TV commentary on current affairs, Mirundi said that now that the national airline is being revived, the thieves embedded within government who are always looking for a loophole to use and steal government money are salivating and hatching all sorts of schemes to filch the citizens. Mirundi said ‘the thieves’ are actually going to make a killing via all sorts of dubious business deals.
“They are now going to make all sorts of proposals and developments. They are going to con people through recruitment schemes where they promise them jobs in the revived airlines. They are going to make proposals for all sorts of companies to provide bogus services such as cleaning, repair, name it. You will even see Ugandans who cant repair a bicycle winning bids to repair the aeroplanes,” Mirundi said.
