After police coming out yesterday evening to refute claims that the deceased Michael Kalinda popularly known as Ziggy Wine was kidnapped and tortured before being dumped at Mulago Hospital, the force has gone ahead to parade Loy Atworo, a primary school teacher at Happy Amy Academy the alleged victim that was involved in the accident with Ziggy Wine.

According to Atworo, the accident happened on Sunday two weeks ago as she was coming from school.

“As I was about to complete crossing the road, a motorcycle came from nowhere and knocked me down,” said Atworo.

Atworo further revealed that when she got knocked down, she lost her consciousness until the following day when she woke up only to find herself in hospital.

Despite having no visible injuries, Atworo narrated that she has bruises on her back and feels pain in most of her joints.

Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga told media that Ziggy was involved in a fatal bodaboda accident along the Northern Bypass in the area between Kyebando and Kaleerwe. He was rushed to the nearby clinic before being transferred to Mulago Hospital where he breathed his last a few days later.

Enanga’s statements looked a wash of earlier reports that indicated the singer was abducted by unknown people, tortured, cut off his fingers and plucked out his eye.
