Speaking at the West Nile Investment Symposium happening at Muni University in Arua, First Deputy Prime Minister Gen Moses Ali has taken a swipe at Bobi Wine’s People Power.

Gen Moses Ali said that Bobi Wine’s claimed People Power puzzles him because it carries no meaning since the current constitution is very clear about the issue of power.

“The constitution says power belongs to the people and this government has never denied that to its people,” Moses Ali said before he wondered; “Which power again are they (Bobi Wine’s camp) talking about.”

Moses Ali continued to sting People Power saying that those who find resistance it is because they are trying to ‘use’ power that is not within the provisions of the constitution.

“This power which I don’t understand, I don’t think it will survive because we (government) have already catered for power by allowing everyone to stand for any electoral office.”
