As other forces of change especially the youth movement of People Power are in high gear preparations for the 2021 presidential elections and ready to face off with the incumbent President Museveni, four-time presidential aspirant Dr Kizza Besigye has revealed that he is not willing to be on the same ballot with Museveni again.

Besigye disclosed that together with his team the ‘People’s Government,’ they have a well-laid strategy to ensure that Museveni will not be on the ballot in 2021.

“We are not going to allow someone who rigged himself into office, violate the constitution to contest again. That is within our power,” Besigye said.

To ensure that their mission happens, Besigye revealed that his camp has been on the grassroots all over the country creating awareness.

“We are only left with Kampala Metropolitan. So we have been out there taking actions to gear to freeing us. Now we are left taking real actions to end this Junta,” he said.

According to the former FDC president, his anti-election remarks must not discourage Ugandans because he is only saying them to ensure that for once Uganda can hold a free and fair political contest.

“I went to the bush to have free and fair elections, how can I not want elections, but we must declare what type of elections we must have,” he said.

However, he once again noted that kicking out Museveni will not happen merely by throwing the ballot paper in a ballot box.
