National Chairman of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), Gen. Mugisha Muntu has questioned the layout President Museveni is using when tackling national issues.

Speaking to the party leaders of the Luwero region, Muntu said Museveni is putting last things first.

“You steal people’s land and when they complain, you remind them how you are building roads for them. Roads without justice can’t deliver development,” Muntu said.

“We didn’t go to the bush to fight for seeds and seedlings as Gen. Museveni wants to portray it now. We went to the bush to fight for justice, transparency, equality before the law, and democracy. We believed that without these, a nation has no foundation,” he added.

The former army commander said his party has come in contention to redefine Uganda’s politics.

“We are focused on two things and that’s the difference we have with other groups. First, regime removal, secondly and most importantly, how to use that power effectively to resolve many issues that have affected our people since 1962,” he stated.
