Are you one of those who have been wondering why it had got common for Ugandan government officials to be denied U.S. visas? Did you even know who was steering it?

Speaking at the People Power leadership press conference yesterday at their offices in Kamwokya, the youthful pressure group leader, Hon Robert Kyagulanyi revealed how his group has played a pivotal role in influencing the act of denying government officials U.S. visas.

Bobi Wine said together with their coordinators in the Diaspora, cried out to the U.S. authorities to find means of lawfully dealing with Ugandan officials who are reportedly contributing to the continued series of impunity happening in Uganda.

The presidential hopeful explained that the authorities heard their alarm and they are acting accordingly. He said that more visible action will continue to happen.

“They are going to continue denying the so-called ‘big people’ in government U.S. visas for the acts they have committed to Ugandans. Their property in the U.S. has been seized because ‘Kasukaali Keeko’,” Bobi Wine said.

The legislator applauded People’s Government’s (FDC) decision to collect signatures in an attempt to drag President Yoweri Museveni to the International Criminal Court. He said every effort made against the regime is very welcome.
